What do mothers and a good morning have in common? The sun rises with them! Mother\'s Day is a nice occasion to spoil mom and say thank you. And what better way to do that than with a cozy morning and a delicious breakfast? In this article, you will learn how you can easily make your mom happy.
Mother\'s Day Breakfast
Our guiding principle: A good day starts with a good morning. It doesn\'t take much to start the day in a good mood, but sleeping in and starting the morning comfortably with a delicious breakfast is definitely one of them for us. For Mother\'s Day, however, it may be a little more. Breakfast at the bedside or maybe a small gift?
Sleep in
Rested and full of energy, the morning starts a lot better. This may not sound like much at first, but a stress-free morning can work wonders. And while your mom sleeps in, you have enough time to whip up a delicious breakfast for her.
A little attention
A fresh bouquet of your favorite flowers, your favorite chocolates, a handwritten postcard, or simply your favorite tea fresh to bed. You bring great pleasure with small gestures. Of course, this can also be done remotely if you don\'t live with your mom. Just have breakfast together via voice or video call or send your mom a delicious breakfast package. Instead of breakfast at the bedside, breakfast delivered directly to the front door – just a few clicks instead of a few simple steps 😉
A la carte breakfast
Breakfast in bed or at your favorite place at the table? Muesli, porridge, or crunchy? Fried egg or soft egg? Coffee or tea? Let your mom decide by giving her the opportunity to tick off her favorites on a small breakfast menu. This way, you can create a little restaurant feeling at home for your mom in the morning and prepare a breakfast completely to her taste.

Mother\'s Day Gift
Mother\'s Day Breakfast Kits
To make it a little easier for you, we have created three great gift sets especially for the upcoming Mother\'s Day. Selected products, sweetly packaged and delivered directly to Mama with a greeting card, here\'s how it works: Choose one of the three sets and enter Mama\'s address as the delivery address, we\'ll take care of everything else!
Simply homemade
We are big fans of homemade gifts. A big advantage is that you can respond individually to your counterpart and wrap the gift in a personalized way.
A homemade waffle or pancake mix with Verival Porridge is the ideal gift to sweeten the morning a little. You can cater to the recipient\'s taste, for example, by choosing a particular porridge variety, but also pay attention to diets and choose, for example, gluten-free or sugar-free porridge.
These ingredients are included in the mix:
- 100 g porridge of your choice
- 50 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- Choice of cinnamon or a little vanilla sugar
The mix only needs to be combined with 100 ml of milk, plant drink, or water and can be made in a pan or waffle iron. So the sweet breakfast is ready to be enjoyed with little effort and in a short time.
Give time as a gift
Already in our article on the topic of sustainable Christmas , we talked about this point and think that it suits every occasion. Time is and remains one of the most important resources and is therefore the most valuable gift. Spending time together, having breakfast together, going for walks, or trying new things and creating memories is one of the most beautiful gifts for us.
Mother\'s Day Recipe
In celebration of the day, our dear Lena has once again ventured into a new recipe. With our Berry Urkorn Muesli, she creates delicious Verival Granola tarts with yogurt cream and fresh berries.
Recipe idea: Granola tartlet made of Berry Urkorn muesli with yogurt cream

Ingredients
For the tarts
- 200 g Berry Urkorn Muesli
- 100 g oatmeal
- 100 g nuts (here walnuts)
- 4 tbsp flaxseed, crushed
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 100 g coconut oil
- 100 g maple syrup
For the cream
- 300 g Greek yogurt
- 150 g stoppers
- ½ lemon, grated
- ½ tsp vanilla, ground
- 1 tsp. maple syrup
For topping
- many different berries – e.g. raspberries, blueberries, strawberries
- a few banana chips
- a few edible flowers – e.g. daisies, lilac blossoms
Preparation
-
For the bottoms, finely chop the walnuts and melt the coconut oil.
-
Knead into a sticky mixture with all the other ingredients.
-
Distribute the mixture in muffin tins and press firmly to the bottom and edge. This works best with moistened hands.
-
Bake in the oven at 160°C for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool briefly and then gently release from the moulds with a spoon.
-
For the cream, mix all the ingredients and add them to the cake bases. Decorate with berries and flowers.
