Basic porridge recipe

For the classic porridge basic recipe from Scotland you only need three basic ingredients:

  1. 180 ml milk
  2. 3-4 tbsp tender oat flakes made from whole grains or Verival porridge mix
  3. 1 pinch of salt

Bring the oat flakes, milk or water to the boil in a pot, stir for five minutes to a creamy consistency and let it steep a little.

Finally add a pinch of salt and your warm breakfast is ready.
